Hmmm Call me crazy but I believe the amount of war related deaths in the last 8 years is a hair larger than the previous 8. That might have a little something to do with monkey boy's idea of what makes a threat.

The one thing that everyone seems to conveniently overlook is that there is a lot more deaths when you include the genocides in Africa through the 90’s and even today, Kenya as evidenced. Sure you have justifiable reason to hate President Bush but don’t forget there is a lot mor to the world than your little portion in North America or the EU.

You are very right; I didn’t count genocide or ethnic conflicts. You must not forget, either, that Africa doesn’t stand alone in those. Witness East Timor, Bosnia, Albany, Chechnya, Haiti, Colombia. . . there is a long and sorted list.
Here in America we have an elected leader sponsoring violence while stating that he stands for peace and reconciliation. There is nothing good or better between one kind of war and another.
