We Probably Deserved It Anyway...

The administration is implying that if you have nothing to hide then their spying program won't make you nervous. By that regard, why are they refusing to turn over any of the crucial documentation about the Katrina bungle. What are they trying to hide? We already know it was a colossal screw up, how much worse does it get?

GeeDub's set of double standards amazes me. It is ok for Rove to leak top secret and confidential info since it helps them start a war, but they get pissy if anyone leaks info that shows that the war (or any of their policies) is not justified. They demand paperwork and investigations regarding Kofi Annan and the UN but then refuse to turn over anything that will help clear up torture questions.

Any of you ever walk in on your partner going at it with someone else and have them get mad at you because you didn't respect their privacy by knocking first? Then they get even madder and start blaming you because if you had knocked you never would have walked in on them to begin with and this "problem" of you finding out, never would have occurred. Probably a bad analogy to imagine that you were ever in bed with this administration, but can't you just hear the beer can hitting the door frame as you turn to leave; followed by, "Get the hell out! I know what I am doing here. This is the best for both of us. When I get cleaned up, you had better have dinner ready!" Two days later we, the dutiful, loving country, with two black eyes and numerous broken bones, try to explain how we fell down the stairs or ran into a doorknob. "He loves me. He really does. He is such a good man. He even took me to the emergency room after he beat. . . I mean helped me up."
